"Ecovillages: Where They Are, What They're Doing, Why They're
Important". Diana Leafe Christian, popular speaker on cohousing and
intentional communities and author of the book "Creating a Life Together"
will be doing a presentation and slide show on Ecovillages at Monterey
Cohousing on Thursday Evening, April 2, from 7:30 - 9:00 PM. With over
400 photos of ecovillages worldwide, Diana shows the growth and variety of
the ecovillage movement, and describes how they are beginning to to
beneficially influence the wider culture.

RSVPs are requested, as we need to know how many guests to plan for.
Call 952-930-7554 to RSVP. For more information including directions

A few details from the presentation publicity when done elsewhere:
[ The slides include some ]

that use the cohousing model. And how
ecovillages work with permaculture design, natural building,
off-grid power, alternative technology, sustainable agriculture,
Earth-restoration projects, international peace activism, service
to others, local currencies, cottage industries, participatory
decision-making, conflict resolution, and communication skills
for bonding and connecting, and more.
...
Even though it's about ecovillages, cohousers tend to like the
presentation because it shows good ideas one can adapt to cohousing.
