Youth Farm and Market Project is hosting an all-you-can-eat community pancake breakfast fundraiser at the Powderhorn Park Building (located at 3400 15th Ave) on Sunday, December 12 from 9 am to 1 pm. For only $5, and $3 for the little ones under 12, you get all the pancakes, sausage, and fruit salad (almost entirely organic and natural) you can handle. We will also be selling our handmade holiday wreathes and gifts. This fundraiser will help support the programs within the neighborhood. Youth Farm works to connect youth and their communities to food, land, and culture by producing quality, organic produce grown in small gardens located in the Lyndale, Powderhorn, and West St Paul neighborhoods. The youth grow, harvest, cook, and sell the produce to local restaurants and at small markets across the city during the summer. During the rest of the year, the organization runs after school programs for younger children and works with older students to organize projects on issues such as racism and the environment within their communities. Thanks for reading and hopefully we'll see you on Sunday!
