September 19, 2003 To: Folk School folks From: John Wallace Invitation to: Folk School lunch at St. Martin's Table, this coming Monday, September 22, 11:30 -- 1:00 The purpose of these weekly lunch meetings is to dig into Gandhi's saying, "You must be the change you seek in the world." They are open, rolling conversations happening throughout this academic year, where people are free to come when they can, and come at any time between 11:30 and 1:00. Beginning this Monday, the 22nd, the meeting will be upstairs at St. Martin's Table, in really beautiful, quiet space. You can buy your lunch downstairs at St. Martin's Table and bring it up, or you can brown bag it. The space belongs to the Trinity Lutheran Community, and the folk school is very grateful to them for their hospitality. To reach the room where we will be meeting, go up the little stairs and in the red door in back of St. Martin's Table--which stairs and which door are very obvious when you go to the parking lot in back of St. Martin's Table. St. Martin's Table is at 2001 Riverside Avenue. -- John Wallace Director of Graduate Studies Department of Philosophy University of Minnesota 831 Heller Hall 271 19th Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55455-0310 (612) 624-5210 FAX (612) 626-8380 walla003 [at] tc.umn.edu
